HOF Eligible Bio's
PATRICK WATSON
The Owner
of the Dog River Hoodrats in 2001. First team whose team name
didn't include his own. Franchise only existed in the eSFL for one season,
2001. Watson led his team to an 8-6 season, and a first round playoff
loss to the Rhodes Runners.
2001-(8-6) 0-1
playoffs
MIKE
GAUS Gaus was the
second eSFL franchise in league history. Finished 2000 season with
12-2 mark, .857 winning percentage is best eSFL single season mark
ever. His accomplishments are overshadowed by the fact that his
franchises only 3 losses were to the Meneely club. His impact on the
league goes way beyond his on field general duties, as he is responsible
for 45 percent off all rules currently in
place.
2000-(12-2) 0-1
playoffs
PHILLIP
TAYLOR
Phillip Taylor was owner and
coach of the Taylor Terror (Niners) in 2002. His franchise
was forced to shut down operation after a long 2 year legal battle
over the team name. Mike Gause was the original owner in 2000, and Taylor
used the team name, and changed the colors without his consent. A
settlement was reached in Dec 2004. Taylor was offered a new expansion
franchise in '04, but declined. Taylor has the distinction of not
showing up for the 2002 draft, however, his team of has beens and free
agents wrecked havoc across the league. He was directly responsible for
the elimination of 3 teams from playoff contention in 2002. Not to
mention, his team took their playoff hopes all the way into the final week
of the season. 2002-(6-8)
JASON
PRANZO
Jason's Pistons was
one of the first 6 eSFL franchises in 2000. Financial difficulties caused
by poor play and lack of fan interest led to this teams being taken over
by the commissioner after week 8. They became the Egress Ballistics for
the remainder of the 2000 season, and were then shut down for
good. Do not be fooled though,
without the Pranzo franchise in 2000, the league would not have been able
to get its start. His involvement in the league was a historic event, and
ultimely led to todays outstanding league. 2000-(2-6)
AARON
ADAMS
The
Texas Connection was owned and coached by Aaron Adams. Nothing remarkable
about this teams, excepted they weren't very good.
2002-(6-8)
2003-(4-10)
DARREN
MUHA
MUHA MARAUDERS
2000-2002 The Muha
Marauders was owned and coached by the legendary Darren Muha. The
Marauders was an eSFL franchise in 2001, and part of the 2002 season.
Originally the Muha Yeeha in the 2000 season, they became the first
franchise in eSFL history to be sold. After only 3 games in 2002, Bryan
Deason bought the team and renamed them the Deason Deamons. Muha's services to the eSFL are huge. He was instrumental in the
formation of the league and served as league Public Relations officer
in 2002. 2000-(Muha
Yeeha) (3-11) 2001-(4-10) 2002-(1-2)
BRIAN
DEASON
Brian became the first owner in league
history to purchase an eSFL franchise after the season had started. He
purchased the Marauders and renamed them to the Deason Demons. He led a
beat down Muha franchise from a 1-2 start to a 6-5 record, battling for a
playoff spot until the next to last week of the season.
2002-(6-5)

Charged with the vital task of
continuing to be sure that enshrinees are the finest the league has
produced is the eSFL Football Hall of Fame's 8-person Board of
Selectors (see list below).
The Board consists of one individual never associated with the
league in any other way.
With
the exception of the league Hall Of Fame
representative
who is appointed for a ten-year term, all
appointments are good for 2 years and can be terminated before that
only by retirement or resignation.
The Board of Selectors meets annually at the
time of the annual eSFL draft to elect new members, only to replace
those who no longer wish to perform such duties. There is no set
number for any class of enshrinees. The 2004 class was the first
ever named.
Every candidate
is carefully scrutinized and must receive at least 3/4 approval of the
Board. When the Selectors meet to
name the upcoming class, they will have before them a roster
of final candidates, along with detailed biographies on each. To
assure that older members will be considered along with the younger
breed, the Seniors Committee - made up of three veteran (3+ years) eSFL
members of the overall Selection Committee - will name
nominees who have failed to be enshrined and are no longer
eligable for consideration. A member is no longer eligable after 3
unsuccesfull attempts. They then may only be considered by the senior committee.
The member must receive all 3 votes. There is no set amount of times
a member may be considered by the senior committee.
The other finalists will be the survivors
from a preliminary list of candidates that the Board will have
screened by ballot. That original list will have been in part
provided by the fans and owners themselves. This selection process
will be conducted via the eSFL poll center. If you are not a member
of the committee, DO NOT VOTE.
Any
fan or owner may nominate any qualified person who
has been connected with eSFL football in any capacity simply by
completing an eSFL HOF Nominee worksheet via a post on the eSFL
message board. The only restriction is that a owner or player must
have been retired at least two years before he can be considered.
For example, a candidate for the 2005 class must have concluded his
career not later than the 2003 season.
For a non-owner, there is no mandatory
retirement period, but a coach must be retired before he may be
considered. Every nomination received will be processed and
forwarded to the Board of Selectors.
It is important to emphasize that the
commissioner himself has only one vote as to who is or is not
elected to membership. The only other function of the commissioner
is to process the nominations as they arrive and to coordinate the
annual meeting.

ROBINSON WAGONEERS 2000-2003
ONLY eSFL PARTICIPANT TO WIN 2
BALLISTIC BOWLS (2000 AND 2001) 2000, 2001, 2003 eSFL Coach of The
Year 2000, 2001
eSFL Owner of The Year 2001 eSFL General Manager of The Year
Robinson and his
Wagoneers were one of the first 6 eSFL franchises.
They not only succeeded, but it could be said that his teams
dominated. Although his overall franchise record of 31-27 is nothing remarkable, their 2
ballistic bowl titles and three appearences in 4 years will be tough to
top. Robinson retired after his team lost to the Rachal Rebels in Ballistic Bowl
IV. He was a unanimous choice in 2004 to be enshrined
into the hall, obtaining all 8 votes. Besides his on
field accomplishments, he served the league as director of
sportsmanship in 2002 and was also a pivotal player in the foundation of the
league and it's current rules.
